WEST BEND, Wis. – Jim Sprouse, owner of Property Loss Management in West Bend, Wis., supports a variety of causes and has a servant’s heart when it comes to helping those in need. This week, the PLM team, along with its crew and right-hand man Isaac Wagner, gathered supplies needed to support hurricane relief efforts in the Carolinas.
“My friend Nancy from the Random Lake Fire Department sent me a tip asking if there was anything lying around that I wasn’t using,” Sprouse said.
“So we collected 1,000 cardboard boxes and any additional items we had at PLM that we could donate. We also went to Menards to buy laundry soap and other items.”
The PLM team packed boxes with essentials such as detergent, trash bags, water, and paper products.
PLM will deliver the supplies to Mueller’s Sales and Service in Random Lake, N7277 Highway 57&K, where they will then be transported to North Carolina, which is in need of hurricane recovery.
The Muellers will set up a 25-foot trailer in the parking lot where donations can be loaded from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sooner we fill this trailer, the sooner we can get it to everyone who needs it.
The updated list of items includes winter clothing, subzero sleeping bags and tents, winter jackets, blankets, winter gloves, generators, propane, propane heaters, and extension cords for tanks, camps, and stoves.
The driver applies as much load as necessary. They will unload the trailer when it is full. So let’s fill in the trailer. Another shipment is scheduled to depart on Sunday. If you have any questions, please call us at 262-483-1964.
