The Energy Partnership Secretariat has announced a new tender to reinstall solar power plants into the electricity supply systems of three Ukrainian medical facilities.
The energy community said in a statement, as reported by Ukrinform.
“The Energy Community Secretariat, in cooperation with project manager Urban Technology Alliance LP, today announces three new bids for renewable energy projects in Ukraine,” the statement reads.
According to the statement, the arrangement for the re-equipment of the power supply system with the installation of a solar power plant and the contract for an autonomous uninterruptible power supply system covers three medical institutions, including the Khmelnytsky Regional Veterans Hospital and the Center. Emergency Medical Assistance and Disaster Medicine of the Zhytomyr Regional Council and the Primary Medical and Hygiene Care Center of the Kociubinske Settlement Council.
“These solutions aim to enhance and strengthen the energy systems of critical healthcare facilities, focusing on the integration of solar power plants and battery energy storage,” the Energy Community Secretariat said.
The project will be financed by the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
