Eric Menendez and Lyle Menendez are currently waiting to hear from Los Angeles County Attorney George Gascón on important case updates…but their fellow inmates are acting as if they’re already out. TMZ has learned that he is taking .
Sources inside the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility tell TMZ that inmates are already lining up and calling dibs on the Menendez brothers’ compound…all of them are buying one or two of the famous memorabilia. I’m hoping to get one.
We hear that everything from clothing to televisions is now up for grabs, even though it’s banned in prisons.
According to our sources, technically the brothers aren’t supposed to give anything…but that won’t stop prisoners from lining up unnoticed inside the San Diego facility. do not have.
Despite the renewed attention to Eric and Lyle’s affair, the brothers have reportedly been unusually quiet and reserved this week. Sources claim it’s clear they are “nervous” about what’s to come from the DA’s office…because their fate is in Gascón’s hands.
That being said…this infamous duo promised their fellow inmates that they would do whatever they could outside to help their case!
Gascón held a press conference in early October in which he acknowledged that his office is reviewing new evidence in the case…which could result in a resentencing or new trial.35 There is a possibility that they will be released after spending nearly a year in prison.

Eric and Lyle are currently serving life sentences without parole for the 1989 murders of their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez. The notorious brothers were tried twice for murder, but the first trial ended in a mistrial over a deadlocked jury decision.
Eric and Lyle’s sexual abuse accusations against their late father were not allowed to be presented at their second murder trial, and they were ultimately convicted.
