PARKERSBURG — SIPS Coffee Truck owner and operator Jen Allman raised $1,800 to support the Camden Clark Foundation’s Pink Mammogram Fund.
Allman presented the check to Kim Couch, executive director of the Camden Clark Foundation, on Thursday in a coffee truck.
SIPS can be found throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley, providing handcrafted beverages to communities. Allman said she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 and is now fully recovered, but wanted to find a way to contribute to her community. SIPS Coffee Truck is offering a drink called TaTaCoolada, and 10% of the proceeds from each TaTaCoolada will be donated to the Pink Mammogram Foundation.
“This contribution was made possible thanks to our wonderful customers and friends who stopped by the SIPS coffee truck for a Tata Colada,” Allman said. “This is a reflection of our commitment to and giving back to the brewing community, and we are hugely grateful to everyone who helped make this happen.”
The Pink Mammogram Fund is open to everyone, with no residency or age requirements. This fund helps cover mammograms, diagnostic tests, and biopsies. In addition, the Camden Clark Foundation helps with transportation costs for people who have difficulty getting to appointments, whether related to breast cancer or not.
Couch said work on transportation is an ongoing process.
“If money is the solution to your problem, you can easily buy a gas card,” Couch said. “The bigger issue is that if you don’t have a reliable car or you’re not on a bus route, it’s not very useful. So we continue to look for opportunities to make it easier for people to get around. ” Make and keep promises. ”
The fund’s goal is to serve the uninsured and underinsured and bridge the gap between those in need. Couch said the Pink Mammogram Foundation can help individuals without a health care provider, whether or not they currently have a test order, and whether or not they have an in-house health care provider who can place an order and review the results. He said you are welcome to call.

Allman plans to continue fundraising from October of this year through October of next year, with the funds returning to the Camden Clark Foundation in a separate donation.
