If you were looking for a refreshing break from the constant barrage of news surrounding the November 5 presidential election, SEVENTEEN provided just what you needed on Wednesday (October 30) morning. The 13-member K-Pop boy band provides musical caffeine relief through the first U.S. telecast of their new single “LOVE, MONEY, FAME” from their 12th mini-album “SPILL” on ABC. It marked their debut performance on Good Morning America. I feel it.
DJ Khaled, the song’s featured artist, was absent, but S.COUPS, JEONGHAN, JOSHUA, JUN, HOSHI, WONWOO, WOOZI, THE 8, MINGYU, DK, SEUNGKWAN, VERNON, and DINO excited the GMA stage with their autographs. I did. Mixing smooth vocal harmonies, rapping, and intricate choreography, each member took turns in the spotlight to perform the English version of the song.
The performance comes after the group achieved their sixth top 10 hit on the Billboard 200 album chart with “SPILL.” The album debuted at number 5 with 66,000 equivalent album units for the week ending October 24th.
The superstar group kicked off the US leg of their (RIGHT HERE) world tour in Chicago last week, marking their first US performance in over two years. The three-hour, 22-song show featured tracks from their four-album, 12-EP catalog, including the debut live performance of “LOVE, MONEY, FAME.”
American CARAT will next be playing Halloween night (October 31st), Frostbank Center in San Antonio (and the following night as well), Oakland Arena in Oakland, California (November 5-6th), and BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. You can check them at . (November 9-10). The latter will be their first U.S. stadium performance.
