Joe Ingream, previously senior vice president of employee benefits at OneAmerica Financial, has been promoted to president of the business unit.
Ingream has been with OneAmerica Financial since April 2022 and has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance business. Prior to joining the company in 2022, Mr. Ingrim served as COO of Prudential Financial’s Group Insurance business, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and execution of the Group Insurance business. He also spent more than 10 years at Aetna, where he led the Disability and Absence Management Benefits team.

Nationwide Retirement Solutions appoints head of pension business
Rich Porter has been named leader of Nationwide Retirement Solutions Distribution, succeeding Craig Hawley, effective October 28. Mr. Hawley recently moved to lead Nationwide’s pension business.
Mr. Porter led the firm’s pension distribution brokerage team for the past two years. In his new role, he will oversee a team responsible for driving new plan acquisition, retention and relationship management. He will report to Eric Stevenson, President of Nationwide Retirement Solutions.

Pentegra Announces Leadership Additions
M. Palmer Whitney, Vice President and Director of Customer Engagement, has joined Pentegra’s leadership team.

Lincoln Financial names chief information officer
Jennifer Charters will join Lincoln Financial as executive vice president and chief information officer, effective November 18.
Mr. Charters, a veteran financial services technology executive with 30 years of experience, will oversee all aspects of the company’s enterprise-wide technology and digital strategy and execution. She will report to Ellen Cooper, Chairman, President and CEO, and will serve on the company’s Senior Management Committee.
Since 2018, Mr. Charters served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Flagstar Bank, where he led the IT organization. Prior to that, he was Chief Information Officer of Enterprise Technology at Ally Financial.
Charters will replace current Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer Ken Solon in a complete transition of responsibilities. Mr. Solon is scheduled to retire in early 2025.
