Two artificial intelligence startups are teaming up to make multiple listing service (MLS) search more accessible to people who are visually impaired.
By combining Restb.ai and Lundy’s technology, users will be able to search listings through voice commands. Restb.ai leverages AI to generate computer vision for the real estate sector, and Lundy provides a voice-driven real estate search platform.
The two startups are working together to provide voice search options to agents, buyers, and sellers. The new product is available to MLSs, and MLSs that already use Restb.ai’s tagging technology can upgrade to one of Lundy’s “Finding Homes Pro” features for free.
“Our mission is to provide the most comprehensive search engine available by voice, making home buying accessible to everyone,” Lundy CEO Justin Lundy said in a statement. “By partnering with Restb.ai and leveraging market-leading computer vision technology, we are dramatically advancing our efforts at Lundy to make voice search a core feature of every MLS. Together, we are setting a new standard for accessibility and user-friendly technology.”
Restb.ai’s technology is an image tagging system that automatically analyzes property photos and provides visual insights. Lundy said it goes beyond just a screen reader by offering natural language home searches that are uninterrupted by display ads or pop-up screens.
“MLS is leading the way in bringing actionable AI to hundreds of thousands of real estate professionals across the country,” Nathan Brannen, chief product officer at Restb.ai, said in a statement. “Partnering with Lundy will accelerate the adoption of AI in the industry, allowing agents to match homebuyers and sellers to deliver the perfect home with unparalleled speed and accuracy. ”
“This partnership will have a significant impact on how agents serve their clients and bring further AI innovation to the real estate front.”
