LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The March of Dimes will hold its biggest fundraiser of the year on Thursday night.
Signature Chefs: Feeding Motherhood brings together the best chefs from across the Hub City to spend their time creating delicious treats while guests bid on auction items and learn more about the nonprofit.
All proceeds stay local and go to benefit moms and babies in the region, including providing comfort meals for families in the NICU during the holidays.
“You know what you’re contributing,” Mandy Pettit said. “Food is important to them. During the holidays, they bring food to families with babies in the NICU. It’s just so they can have some peace of mind and know that someone is there.” It’s just that.”
