Matter Real Estate — Andrew Rippingale has joined the company as CFO. Mr. Rippingale joins Matter from Nuveen Real Estate, where he was responsible for managing and enhancing complex real estate fund structures and mandates across Europe. Aleksandra Paciorek joins the investment team as Vice President and will focus on sourcing and executing major investments across Europe. Prior to joining Matter, Paciorek worked at EQT, where he focused on the acquisition and management of residential, student housing, and self-storage assets. Jorge Albert joins Matter as a Senior Associate, responsible for transaction underwriting, execution and investment management. Albert joins from Tyrus Capital, where he focused on European opportunistic credit and special situation investments. John Mak joins as an associate and will support the investment team in deal underwriting, execution and investment management. Prior to joining Matter, Mak advised on assets across a variety of asset classes in Europe and Asia. David Moore joins the team as a financial analyst, supporting the company’s finance team in the areas of accounting, compliance and investor reporting. Mr. Moore joins Matter from Deloitte Ireland.
Infranity – The infrastructure manager has appointed Paul Colatrella, Katherine McElroy and William Kim to expand its presence in North America. Mr. Colatorella has been appointed MD and Head of North American Fixed Income, and will manage the firm’s U.S. fixed income investment team. Mr. Colatorella previously served as Head of Infrastructure Debt at Fiera Capital’s Private Debt Division. Mr McElroy has been appointed MD of the fixed income investment team. Mr. McElroy previously served as MD of Fiera Private Debt. Mr. Kim has been appointed director of the fixed income investment team. Mr. Kim was a director of Fiera Private Debt. Mr. Kim previously served as an associate in the clean energy infrastructure credit team at Capital Dynamics.
IPUT Real Estate – Ian Gleeson has been appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Director. Mr. Gleason has held several senior leadership roles, including CIO of the Private Real Estate division of CBRE Real Estate Investment Management and, prior to that, CEO and CIO of CBRE Global Investment Partners. . Prior to joining CBRE GIP, Gleeson held a number of senior roles including leading the development of international indirect real estate services at Aviva Investors and leading the real estate investment strategy for the National Pension Provident Fund at the Irish Treasury. I did. In 2022, Gleason founded Torc Advisory, which provides independent advisory services to property managers and investors. He has served on numerous boards and investment committees throughout his career and is an active member of INREV, including as a member of the Executive Committee and as Chair of the Investor Platform.
SC Capital – Daisuke Hiramoto has been appointed Managing Director and Head of Japan. Mr. Hiramoto will lead the firm’s Tokyo-based real estate investment team, focusing on equity and fixed income transactions and corporate-led transactions across all real estate sectors. Previously, Mr. Hiramoto spent more than four years at KKR in Tokyo, where he was involved in establishing KKR Japan’s real estate team and investing in the office, hotel and residential sectors. Prior to joining KKR, he spent eight years at PAG Investment Management, where he was responsible for deal sourcing and acquisitions across traditional asset classes, data centers, and distressed loans. Early in his career, he was with Merrill Lynch Japan and began his career at SMBC in Tokyo.
Royal London Asset Management Properties – Will Edwards has been appointed Portfolio Fund Manager of the Royal London Property Pension Fund. Mr. Edwards joins from Legal & General Asset Management, where he was Head of Emerging Strategy and Senior Fund Manager. He was responsible for creating a sustainable DC real estate fund, managing close-end real estate vehicles, and leading joint ventures with strategic clients.
Altus Power – Skylar Werde joins the company as head of community solar. Werde will oversee the entire Altus Power community solar business, both B2B and B2C, including team management, strategy, revenue, customer acquisition, marketing and customer support. Mr. Werde joins Altus Power from Clean Energy Associates, where he was Senior Director of U.S. Sales. Previously, he was Chief Revenue Officer at Novel Energy Solutions and also held leadership positions at Lola Red PR and Bridgeworks.
Knight Frank – The global real estate consultancy has appointed partner Joshua Morris to the newly created role of head of international capital in the UK. Mr. Morris has been a partner in Knight Frank’s capital markets team since 2019. In his new role, he will work alongside UK Head of Capital Markets Charlie Burke to focus on bringing overseas capital sources to UK opportunities and build on the firm’s partnership with the US. Chancery Gate Mitisca – The multi-purpose light industrial park development and asset management company has appointed Sebastian Madeira of Cushman & Wakefield as its first development director in Portugal. Prior to joining Chancerygate Mitisca, Mr. Madeira was a senior consultant in Cushman & Wakefield’s Lisbon office, where he led the Capital Markets team advising on development and valuation. Previously, Mr. Madeira served as a real estate project manager at Teixeira Duarte Real Estate. In his new role, Mr. Madeira will be responsible for driving the activities and growing the assets under management of Chancerygate Mitisca, a developer of multi-least light industrial parks in Portugal.
Staybrook Capital – Ashley Hancox has joined Staybrook as Head of Office Occupant Strategy. He has been with CBRE for over 15 years, including 10 years as national agency director for the UK region. Previously, he worked at GSD, a niche investment advisory and wealth management business, alongside Adrian McStay, CEO of Staybrook. In his new role, he will be responsible for identifying and underwriting opportunities for Staybrook’s asset pipeline in the Thames Valley as well as his favorite cities: London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh and Leeds. In addition to identifying pipeline assets, Hancox works with management platforms to develop proposals to occupiers. Henry Fisher joins us as an investment analyst. He joins the company with five years of experience from two real estate finance companies, including producing detailed portfolio performance reports, building cash flow models, and proactively managing non-performing loans at both the real estate and capital structure levels. GuarantCo – Private Infrastructure Development Group Company has appointed Dave Chalila as Head of Sub-Saharan Africa. In this new role, Mr. Chalila will be responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of sustainable infrastructure projects in low-income countries across the region. Chalila joined the team at Italian export credit agency SACE to lead its business in sub-Saharan Africa and pioneer innovative financing for multilateral institutions in Africa. Previously, Chalila spent six years at International Finance Corporation building trade, supply chain finance, and agribusiness portfolios for private sector clients. He also worked at Standard Bank and Rand Merchant Bank in Johannesburg and TDB Bank in Nairobi. He will be based in Nairobi.
