PCMC Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh said, “Property owners who wish to raise objections regarding the notification will have to complete the process online using the ‘QR code’ provided on the notification.” The Municipal Corporation is providing quick resolution online for the convenience of citizens and everyone should take advantage of this service,” he said.
Properties that are newly valued this year are eligible for various discounts for up to three months from the date of invoice. Property owners can receive a 5% discount if they pay their taxes in advance, and an additional 5% discount if they pay online.
PCMC Additional Commissioner Pradeep Jambhale Patil said, “Earlier, property owners had to visit the tax collector’s office to file objections regarding their properties. To resolve this, the City Corporation has made this process available online, allowing property owners to approve or contest notices and make payments through an online system, saving the public time and effort. You should take advantage of this service.”
