MANCHESTER, NH – The NAACP Manchester Chapter announces it will hold its annual Freedom Fund Dinner on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. This year’s dinner theme aligns with the theme of the NAACP National Convention5 The moon is all in!!
This annual dinner is the Manchester Chapter’s major fundraiser of the year, celebrating the past year’s work, recognizing the region’s social justice champions, and demonstrating collective ingenuity, creativity, and strength. We gather to reaffirm our determination to continue our work using Fight for civil rights and social justice.
The Manchester NAACP has played a major role in raising awareness of inequality issues throughout the year. He is active in areas such as defending people of color who have faced discrimination or been treated unfairly. Education; Healing and Happiness. economic justice. and climate and environmental justice. As in previous years, we will promote local organizations’ social justice visions through participation in events such as the Multicultural Festival at West High School in February, We Are One Festival in August, Celebrate ED in September, and Concord Multiculture Festival in September.
