The Trenton Arts Foundation is dedicated to supporting Trenton’s arts organizations and artists, both emerging and established, while striving to preserve the history and culture of the extraordinary Trenton community. In collaboration with the Princeton Area Community Foundation, the fourth round of grants has been launched, offering grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to arts, arts education, culture and history organizations in Trenton. TAF believes that arts, culture, and history are key to the health of a community and bring enrichment and revitalization to the residents of Trenton and the region. TAF is particularly committed to providing meaningful and transformative experiences for Trenton’s youth and their families.
Since its founding in 2018, the Trenton Arts Foundation has donated more than $82,000 to 13 different Trenton arts, culture and history organizations. The Foundation’s annual grant amount is 50% of the total donations received. The remainder will be added to the endowment, allowing TAF to provide immediate support and achieve its goal of building an endowment for the long-term vitality of Trenton’s arts, culture and history organizations and local artists.
To accelerate endowment growth, Trenton Arts Foundation founders John Hatch and David Henderson announced a $250,000 contribution to the foundation’s endowment. To support the 2024 grant cycle, we are currently seeking additional donations to support the work of the Trenton Arts Foundation.
