More bus journeys are being made between Market Weighton, Pocklington and York.
East Yorkshire Buses has announced that it will run three buses per hour during the day from November 11th.
The company added that the current X46 and X47 services will be complemented by the new X45 route, which will resume a “highly requested” service via Dunnington.
The company said the changes represent a “significant improvement” and schedule information will be available soon.
“Amazing growth”
The newly revised Flight 145, supported by funding from East Riding of Yorkshire Council and the Government, will also launch on November 11, providing hourly connections between Market Weighton and Driffield.
Stuart Fillingham, sales manager at East Yorkshire Bus, said: “The introduction of this new service, which will run buses up to every 20 minutes between Market Weighton, Pocklington and Hull, will expand the X46 and X47 routes.
