Samson Dauda won the 2024 Mr. Olympia contest at Resorts World in Las Vegas on Saturday night, for the first time in his career.
It happened at the end of a tense competition when the judges made several decisions and finally became confident in their decision to announce a new champion.

Dauda completed his long and arduous journey to the top of the bodybuilding world on Saturday by winning the Mr. Olympia competition, defeating former champions Hadi Choopan and Derek Lunsford to claim his first title.

The moment he was announced as the winner, he was overcome with emotion and fell to his knees in tears, before hoisting the sport’s most coveted award.
It was also a historic feat that surpassed his first victory.
Dauda’s victory ensures that the Mr Olympic title returns to Britain for the first time since 1997, when Dorian Yates ended his six-year reign at the top of the industry.

Saturday’s results give 2022 champion Chupan second place for the second year in a row. This also meant that 2023 champion Lunsford dropped to third place this year.
Dauda was not only chosen as the winner by the judges; champion of the people And “received the championship belt and trophy.”
After several calls and great uncertainty as to which fighter would impress the judges enough to be named the winner in the end, Dauda emerged victorious, earning a win on the grandest stage of all. He declared that he had reached the pinnacle of the building world.
