KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. — The Kittitas County Treasurer’s Office says its staff will be in Upper County during October to accept property tax payments at the Kittitas County Upper District Court office. Announced.
From Tuesday, October 1, payments will be able to be made at the Upper District Court building located at 700 E 1st Street, Cle Elum WA, on Tuesdays and Fridays from 1pm to 4pm. This schedule will continue until Tuesday, October 29th. We hope this will make it easier for all county residents to access their taxes.
To facilitate the payment of taxes, the Kittitas County Treasurer offers several ways for property owners to pay their taxes quickly and conveniently.
Online through your bank’s online services.
Visit the TaxSifter website online at http://taxsifter.co.kittitas.wa.us/Search/Results.aspx or call Point and Pay directly at (866) 279-1721. Please note that this service is subject to a 2.49% credit card fee, $3.95 debit card fee, or $2 electronic check fee.
If mailed, taxpayers must include a tax statement and write their property tax account number on the check or money order. Please do not send cash by mail.
For AutoPay, the deadline to register for ACH AutoPay is March 15th (first half) and September 15th (second half). This form is available on our website at https://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/treasurer/payments.aspx.
In person at the Treasurer’s Office, Kittitas County Courthouse, 205 W 5th Avenue, Suite 102, Ellensburg. Office hours for April and October are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Or, you can come in person at the Upper County District Court building on the dates and times listed above.
The black drop box is located outside the courthouse, on the left side of the driveway, with easy drive-through access. Do not use white ballot boxes to pay taxes.
The mail slot is located next to the treasurer’s office door in the courthouse.
The mailslot is located on the outside of the Upper Kittitas County District Court building, located at 701 E. 1st Street, Cle Elum, and is available for use when finance personnel are not on site.
