Kanye West to buy next property after Malibu bomb shelter failure
Kanye West has reportedly purchased a $35 million mansion in Beverly Hills, California.
TMZ reports that the rapper has acquired the 20,000-square-foot property in the gated Beverly Park North neighborhood after previously demolishing a luxury waterfront property as a “1910s bomb shelter.” That’s what it means.
The Yeezy founder ultimately managed to sell his Malibu home for $21 million, but lost millions of dollars as he originally bought the home in 2021 for $57 million.
This new 7-acre property has 11 bedrooms, 18 bathrooms, and features a resort-style pool with waterfall, second lap pool, pool house, tennis court, and an “entertainment pavilion.”
West, 47, purchased the home through an LLC in an off-market transaction, the outlet said.
As for the destroyed bat den, the home’s buyer, Beau Belmont, owner of Bellwood Investments, told the Los Angeles Times that he plans to spend about $8 million renovating the Malibu property. Ta.
“My goal is to make it as if Kanye never existed. The house will be restored to its original state in no time,” Belmont said in September, adding that his vision of the rapper’s past was “really ridiculous. It was decided that it was something that had “no purpose” and “no purpose.”
