HW Kaufman Group Appoints Kaufman and Kaufman Davis to New Co-Presidents

HW Kaufman Group, headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, has named Danny Kaufman and Jody Kaufman Davis co-presidents. The newly created position establishes clear leadership responsibilities across Kaufman’s extensive global portfolio. Alan Jay Kaufman will continue to serve as Kaufman’s chairman and chief executive officer.

In addition to his current role as President of Burns & Wilcox in the United States, Danny Kaufman also serves as Head of Burns & Wilcox Securities and Canada. The leaders of both departments will report to him.
Jody Kaufman Davis will become Vice Chairman of Attain Insurance Company, retaining the oversight of RB Jones. She will continue to be responsible for Kaufman’s operations outside of North America.
General insurance executive Dessett joins Hub International as president of North American commercial lines

Chicago-based Hub International Limited (HUB) has appointed Tim Dessett as president of its North American commercial division. DeSett is responsible for developing HUB’s commercial lines strategy and driving organic growth.
With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Dessett most recently served as executive vice president of property and casualty insurance at NFP. Previously, Mr. Dessett served as Director of North American Field Operations and Sales for AIG.
Chubb appoints Benson EVP to lead North American multinational operations

Chubb, headquartered in White House, New Jersey, has named Tim Benson executive vice president and multinational insurance leader, effective October 30.
Mr. Benson and the multinational team will work closely with Chubb’s Global Services Group in the global execution and delivery of North American multinational programs.
Benson, who is based in Philadelphia, replaces Laura Best, who is retiring from the company after 20 years.
Benson joined Chubb in 2005 and has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently serving as executive vice president and chief revenue officer of Chubb’s middle market division. From 2011 to 2019, he led the middle market and small commercial underwriting team focused on international risk for U.S. multinationals and Chubb’s global services organization.
