Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward LeBron James will be playing his unprecedented 22nd NBA season. James is still at the top of his game, but he’s defying the odds and looks like he could play for years in a row.
However, this is not the case. Sooner or later, James will end his career, but it’s unclear when that will happen. Lakers and LeBron fans hope that doesn’t happen anytime soon. Still, the clock is certainly ticking as James is about to enter his age 40 season.
It’s unclear when James will retire, but if you ask former teammate and All-Star guard Isiah Thomas, he thinks he will retire if his other son, Bryce James, enters the NBA. That’s what it means.
“What’s going to get even crazier is when Bron plays with Bryce as well. Once he does that, he’ll retire (lol). Now it’s all done and we’ll ride off into the sunset.” Thomas tweeted.
What gets even crazier is when Bron also plays with Bryce. Once he does that, he will retire (laughs). Now everything is done and we leave at sunset ๐ค๐พ

Bryce is 17 years old and spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Sierra Canyon with his older brother Bronny.
Bryce already has offers from colleges and could be a one-and-done player in college. If that’s the case, he has only two more seasons left before he can become a liability in the NBA.
James will be 41 by then, which may seem unrealistic, but LeBron can play until then if he wants. James shows no signs of slowing down, and we saw that last season and this summer at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In James’ 21st season in the NBA, he averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 8.3 assists, shooting 54 percent from the field and 41 percent from 3-point range in 35.3 minutes per game.
At the Olympics, he was as sharp as ever. James became one of three American men (Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant) to compete in at least three Olympic Games, joining the same group as the only three to win three gold medals.
Additionally, James led the team in five games (all starts) at the USA Basketball Showcase ahead of the 2024 Olympics, scoring 14.6 points, shooting 61.7 percent from the field, shooting 3.8 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and averaging 21.8 minutes per game. took the lead.
James wanted nothing more than to have his sons in the NBA, but it would be special for two of his sons to potentially be in the league while he is still playing.
