Florida Realtor Relief Fund is providing $500,000 to help hurricane victims.
The National Association of Realtors’ Realtor Relief Foundation announced it will award $500,000 in grants to Florida real estate agents to help Floridians experiencing housing issues caused by hurricanes Milton and Helen.
“So many people are suffering from the damage caused by Hurricanes Milton and Helen in communities across the state,” said 2024 Florida Realtors® President and broker-owner of Matchmaker Realty in Gainesville. says one Gia Arvin. “A critical first step is often to address housing needs. Eligibility for NAR-funded assistance through the Realtors Relief Foundation:
Monthly mortgage costs for principal residences damaged by Hurricane Helen and/or Hurricane Milton in September or October 2024. or rental costs associated with relocation from your home base in September or October 2024 due to Hurricane Helen and/or Hurricane Milton. If you were affected by Hurricane Milton and Hurricane Helen, please submit only one application. The maximum grant amount per household is $1,000.
RRF applications for Hurricane Helen and Hurricane Milton close on April 2, 2025. Recipient must be a full-time Florida resident and U.S. citizen, or legally permitted to reside in the United States.
This assistance is for housing relief purposes only. Other expenses, including second mortgages (home equity lines or loans), clothing, appliances, equipment, vehicles (purchases, rentals or repairs and/or mileage) are not eligible for reimbursement under this program. yeah.

Relief assistance is limited to a maximum of $1,000 per household.
All grants are subject to availability of funds. Therefore, assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
