ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A couple of Crafty Creations, a small business in downtown Zanesville, decided to host an event for other small businesses to sell their products.
The first-ever Fall Makers Market was held today at the Muskingum County Welcome Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event brought together over 40 local artisans who had a wide range of items to choose from.
“The support from the community has been amazing. We’ve had so many people come out. It’s almost 12 o’clock or a little after, and we’ve already had hundreds of people come.” Fall Makers Market Coordinator Angela Tucker said.
We sold specialty honey, alpaca fiber stuffed animals, woodwork, bakery items, candles, and more. In addition to local artisans, food trucks were also offered to attendees.
“I think it’s important to know that there are some people in our hometown who do a lot of small businesses, like making things and handcrafting items. I think it’s so important for your community to show support,” Tucker said.
With today’s success, they hope to make this an annual event. For more information, visit Couple of Crafty Creations on Facebook.
