Home decor resource Burton James makes its debut under new ownership of HPMKT.
HIGH POINT — Burton James, a California-based home decor resource, is entering the High Point market under new ownership.
For the first time, Burton James will be showcasing its products as one of Ardmore Home Design’s brands and will be part of the company’s portfolio, which also includes Made Goods, Pigeon and Poodle and Blue Pheasant. AHD founder-owners Chris DeWitt and Oscar Jaag said the new showroom, which spans more than 8,000 square feet, will offer upholstery products featuring a “wide range of fresh designs and fabrics.”
“We are excited to bring Burton James to the High Point market as part of our growing family of brands,” said DeWitt and Jaeg. “Burton James has a great heritage, and with that, we strengthen our commitment to providing the highest quality furniture to designers and their clients. This is an exciting milestone for the future of Burton James as we continue our tradition of excellence.”
The new owners said Burton James has been a cornerstone for interior designers seeking high-quality, hand-crafted home decor for more than 40 years. They added that the High Point Market debut marks a new chapter for Burton James under AHD’s leadership, while remaining true to its origins as a trusted brand of luxury home decor. The new showroom is located directly opposite Bank on Wren.

Made Goods will also open a new showroom at the New York Design Center in November. The brand’s new space is located at 200 Lexington Ave., 16th floor, Suite 1600.
