The Chillicothe Police Department continued its investigation into the theft charges on October 16th. The pursuit took place in the 100 block of Ryan Lane and stems from property theft incidents over the past several months.
Captain Curtis Hayes said officers interviewed victims and witnesses related to these incidents. After questioning, the Chillicothe Police Department applied for and obtained a search warrant through the Livingston County Prosecutor’s Office and the Associate Judge’s Office.
During the search, officers reportedly recovered property identified as stolen by the victim. Hayes said several suspects are already in custody on charges related to the investigation, and additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Chillicothe Police Department with the investigation.
