Jellyfish Originals, the kids & family content division of award-winning global animation & VFX studio Jellyfish Pictures, has signed a co-production agreement with creative toy-driven game studio Toikido for a brand new children’s property, Battalor .
Batalar is a futuristic high school adventure that follows the adventures of three unlikely child heroes who band together to save Velocity and master the combat powers of Batalar after their metropolis is invaded by an all-powerful evil. Voltage’s action comedy series.
This CG-animated series is inspired by the premium performance-based action battle toys created by Toikido, developed for television, and written by two-time Emmy-nominated writer Jordan Gershowitz (Hot Wheels Let’s Race (2024)”, written by Sammy and Sammy’s Twisted Timeline). Jellyfish Originals provides script-to-screen production services while also managing worldwide distribution rights. Toikido will spearhead the facility’s global licensing program and game development.
