Chris Abrego and Eva Longoria’s Hyphenate Media Group has acquired a stake in Gloria Calderon Kellett’s GloNation Studios.
Through this agreement, Kellett will develop, package, and create content for buyers across industries with support from Hyphenate, which launched its own media venture in October 2023 with a strategic investment from Banijay Entertainment. It will be produced.
In a new partnership, Kellett’s GloNation Studios said it has partnered with Uncontained Media to secure exclusive rights to develop television and film content for the state’s salsa star Celia Cruz. Hyphenate Media Group helped identify and broker the deal with Cruise Real Estate.
Financial details of Hyphenate’s investment in GloNation were not disclosed.
Best known for the Emmy Award-winning reboot of Norman Lear’s iconic comedy “One Day at a Time,” Kellett’s other notable credits include Her works include the romantic comedy series “With Love” and “The Horror of Dolores Roach.” ‘ is also a horror comedy produced by Amazon and starring Justina Machado, who starred in Kellett’s ‘One Day at a Time.’ She also appeared on stage in the Pasadena Playhouse comedy play One of the Good Ones, which opened in March.
