Experiences with paying utility bills and food insecurity. We ask for everyone’s cooperation. It can change a person’s life for the better. ”
Members of the Newtown Rotary Club will be stationed at the entrance to McCaffrey’s from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to collect food donations and raise money for the Wrightstown Food Shelf and as part of the Epstein Food Drive Challenge. Donations are also accepted.
“We’ll be collecting money and food at the door, but if you can’t come Saturday, you can go online and donate through the Rotary club’s PayPal account until next Saturday,” said Rotarian Paul Salvatore. said.
If you donate online, you must specify “Food Drive” as the reason for your donation. You can also send checks to the Newtown Rotary Club, PO Box 123, Wrightstown 18943.

People can’t afford everything, so they are choosing between cereal and diapers, soup and toilet paper.” Salvatore said. “We can’t afford everything because we don’t have money, so more and more people are going to food banks to supplement what they can’t afford.”
All monetary donations made to the Wrightstown Food Cupboard through the Epstein Food Drive Challenge will be matched dollar for dollar by the Epstein Foundation.
“The great thing about this challenge is that the Wrightstown Food Pantry will be able to purchase items that they don’t have or are in short supply,” said Salvatore, who came forward to help organize the project. I would like to personally thank Gene Epstein and his Humanitarian Fund for this. Donation.
“Gene loves to give and loves to help people,” Salvatore said. “But he also wants other people who can afford to donate to donate too. That’s why he’s raising these challenges. And 100 percent of the money goes to dishes. It will be donated to the shelf.”
