“This was a cruel and brutal way to die for this young woman,” District Attorney Patsy Austin Gatson said in August. “MS. Llanos Gomez has two children without a mother. This defendant is cold and calculating, and the jury’s swift verdict is the justice that Ms. Llanos Gomez, her family, and her loved ones deserve.” will bring.”
On the night of the murder, Krueger got into an argument with Llanos Gomez over money. When she tried to leave, Krueger grabbed a knife and stabbed her multiple times, eventually slitting her throat.
He then cut her clothes, wrapped her body in a blanket, carried her body, and abandoned her body in a wooded area behind the Hall County area.
