Global chauffeur service provider Blacklane receives $65 million in Series G funding round.
Blacklane said the investment is the company’s largest funding round to date and increases the company’s valuation by 25%.
Founded in 2011 and serving 50 countries, the company plans to use the capital to strengthen its investment strategy and drive global growth.
“This funding round is a strong validation and recognition of what the Blacklane team has accomplished over the past few years,” said Jens Wohltorf, CEO and co-founder of Blacklane.
Mr. Waltorf expressed his gratitude to the participating investors, including TASARU Mobility Investments, Al Fahim Group, Mercedes-Benz Mobility, RI Digital Ventures, Alstin Family, and Gargash Enterprises.
The investment comes in conjunction with a partnership with Saudi Arabia-based TASARU. “TASARU’s mobility know-how will be a great asset to Blacklane, so we are pleased to welcome them as a long-term strategic investor. We need a better partner to help us achieve our goals.” .”
With the funding, Blacklane plans to expand its operations in the United States, look to the Middle East and continue its operations in Europe. Blacklane believes that expansion will allow it to diversify into local and global mobility solutions. The company also plans to announce new services.

Looking to the Middle East, Blacklane has announced that it will introduce electric vehicles in several cities in Saudi Arabia. We hope this expansion will create local jobs. The company said it plans to train both male and female drivers at its driver academy.
Blacklane also said it is pursuing specific goals and looking to invest in airport transfers, intercity connectivity and mobility solutions in cities such as Dubai, Miami and London.
The partnership with TASARU includes working with airlines and airport transfer companies to provide chauffeur services in Saudi Arabia.
Michael Mueller, CEO of TASARU Mobility Investments, said the two companies share a vision of sustainable growth and innovation in the mobility industry.
“This investment is a testament to our commitment to fostering a thriving automotive and mobility ecosystem in Saudi Arabia,” he said.
Blacklane has announced a number of partnerships and attracted investment in recent months. Earlier this year, the company partnered with Jyrney, a 2023 PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup, to serve business travelers. Last year, the company completed Series F funding with the participation of rental company SIXT, but the investment amount was not disclosed.
