A jury awarded Freeman and Moss $148 million after Giuliani spread lies that he tampered with votes in the 2020 election.
The judge’s ruling requires Giuliani to complete the transfer of the property within seven days, by Oct. 29. The property includes the following items:
Manhattan Penthouse Apartment 26 luxury watches, a 1980 Mercedes once owned by movie star Lauren Bacall, shirts and photos signed by Yankees legends Joe DiMaggio and Reggie Jackson, and an autographed A photo of Yankee Stadium, a diamond ring, costume jewelry, and money in a particular bank account.
How will the items be transferred? According to the Associated Press, Mr. Giuliani can send the items to a location of Mr. Freeman and Mr. Moss’s choosing. If he doesn’t agree, the women may have to rent a truck to take them to his apartment or his belongings.
Their lawyer will receive documents regarding ownership of the apartment.
Mr. Giuliani appealed the ruling and asked a New York judge to block the sale of Mr. Freeman and Mr. Moss’ assets until the appeal is complete. A judge denied his request.
Meanwhile, a Florida judge is hearing a lawsuit involving Giuliani’s Palm Beach, Fla., mansion and four Yankees World Series rings that Giuliani’s son claims were given to him as gifts.
