TAMPA, Fla. (CBS12) — A man is accused of brandishing a firearm and demanding money from a cashier at a Winn-Dixie in Tampa.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the incident occurred at a Winn-Dixie in Tampa on October 2 at approximately 4:25 p.m.
Winn-Dixie security video shows a man wearing a gray shirt and hat walking toward the grocery store’s register. He wrapped a red scarf around his face and began talking to the cashier.

The video shows the woman entering the register, taking out all the cash and handing it to the man.
The man was then seen leaving the store with money and what appeared to be two packs of cigarettes.
HCSO deputies said the man was between 40 and 50 years old and had tattoos on both arms. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact deputies at 1 (813) 247-8200.
