In Ludhiana, an FIR was filed against seven people, including a woman, for allegedly trying to illegally seize property from NRI Natchtar Singh using fake documents.
An FIR was registered against seven persons, including a woman, at Ludhiana’s Sudar police station for allegedly trying to illegally snatch the property of an elderly NRI, identified as Nachatar Singh, on the basis of fake documents.

The incident dates back to August 20 when a woman filed a complaint of physical harassment against an NRI. However, the NRI was granted bail. Following this, his son Sandeep Singh Jagpal, who lives in Mississauga, Canada, sent an email to Ludhiana Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Navneet Singh Bains, informing him that the people allegedly occupying the premises requested a lawsuit against.
The complainant said her father, Natchtar Singh, had entrusted the management of his home in Sudar to the woman due to family ties. However, the woman allegedly produced fake documents to claim ownership of the property.
As a result of investigation, the woman and her entourage including Mr. Arvind Kumar Rai, Mr. Jai Krishna Sahni, Mr. Chandan Sahni (all residents of Bihar, Mr. Harjeet Singh, Mr. Balveer Singh, Chowkiman) were found at Sudar police station. A case has been registered against the resident, Mr. Sukhdev Singh of Ludhiana city. .
Inspector Jasinder Singh said investigations were ongoing to nab the suspects.
