Few people can say they beat John Cena in WWE’s long-running championship match, but The Miz did it on the biggest stage of all time: WrestleMania. As John’s retirement tour begins in the new year, several professional wrestlers, including Joe Hendry, have said they would like to face Cena in his final run.

The Miz talked about Cena’s upcoming retirement tour on a recent episode of The Rich Eisen show, putting his name up to face John in his final year as a professional wrestler.
“You’ll never see John Cena in a WrestleMania match again. When Cena says something, it’s one of those things. Sometimes, oh, no, they’re gonna be like Mötley Crue It’s like, this is our last tour, and then three years from now, they’re going to be on tour, no, not Cena, so I’m curious to see who’s going to play against him. Yes, I will keep my hat on my heels all day.”
The Miz defeated Cena at WrestleMania 27 and retained the WWE Championship with a little help from The Rock.
