With SSDI payments ending in October, it’s time to find out when the Social Security Administration (SSA) will schedule your November payments in the United States.
Great news for SSDI recipients, who typically receive their Social Security Disability Insurance check or direct deposit in three days. It will not be held on that date in November.
When will Social Security issue the first SSDI payment in November?
November 1st is the first payday for disability insurance recipients. This is an exceptional payday, as money is often sent on November 3rd. FYI, SSA cannot send money on Saturday or Sunday holidays.
Because November 3rd falls on a Sunday, your first SSDI payment will be issued earlier than expected. It would be great if you could get your cash sooner than expected, even if it’s 48 hours in advance.
The good news isn’t over yet for some disability recipients. Some of them may be eligible for Supplemental Security Income. SSI tends to be received on November 1st, so you’ll receive two payments on the same day.
First, second, and third rounds of SSDI Wednesday payments.
The November 1st payment will be available to people who receive SSI and SSDI at the same time. Also eligible are people who began enrolling in Social Security Disability Insurance before May 1997.
People who begin receiving benefits after April 30, 1997 and are not enrolled in SSI will begin receiving benefits on the second Wednesday of November. Please see below for pay dates and qualifications.

For those who receive SSI and SSDI, there’s another surprise in store. Social Security schedules your December SSI payment for November 29th, so you’ll receive two payments in the same month. Even if it is not a premium or bonus, it will be transferred two days before your regular payday.
