INDIANAPOLIS — Neighbors on Indy’s northeast side are raising concerns that the property is a nuisance.
“There’s always the smell of diesel. We can’t go out without getting sick,” Luer Paschal told WRTV.

Neighbors claim the homeowners run a junkyard on their property. The home is located near 37th Street and Caroline Avenue.
“We don’t know what else to do because we’re people trying to live a good life,” Pascal said.

The city told WRTV it has issued multiple fines to property owners for multiple violations. Neighbors want something more done.
“We can’t keep doing this. We’re walking outside wearing masks,” Pascal said.

The city tells WRTV that if residents have concerns about activities at the facility or the condition of the facility, they can report those concerns to the Mayor’s Action Center. Once a report is made, an investigation process will begin.
The city added that it is important to keep in mind that the process of initiating an investigation, issuing appropriate violations, and escalating the case to the city attorney’s office if necessary does not happen overnight. Ta.
