Drew and Jonathan Scott help frustrated homeowners find new love for their spaces in their upcoming series, “Don’t Hate Your Home with Real Estate Brothers.”
“During the six-episode season, the brothers sit down with their customers to understand their home’s shortcomings and come up with a plan to address what’s not working,” the show’s description reads. “With a set budget, Drew and Jonathan will tear down walls, demolish the kitchen, and reconfigure the living areas, assessing any hidden damage that could impact the homeowner’s wish list along the way. It will comfort your family through the daunting renovation process and provide encouragement during the emotional moment of saying goodbye to a former room filled with cherished family memories.”
The brothers shared that many older homes do not make the most efficient use of space. In this way, the brothers are breathing new life into these spaces by modernizing them and making them more acceptable to today’s families.
“We are frustrated because the original layouts found in older homes often do not make the best use of space,” Jonathan explained. “Drew and I know we can make this house better.”
“When you walk in and find boxy layouts and isolated spaces, you start to see possibilities,” Drew added. “Adapting your home to suit your family’s needs creates a better environment and a happier family life for everyone.”
DON’T HATE YOUR HOUSE WITH THE PROPERTY BROTHERS premieres on November 13th on HGTV.
In the upcoming series, they’ll be helping families they don’t know personally, but the brothers have recently taken on renovation projects closer to home. As the siblings began to focus on their family, they missed having their parents nearby. In September, the parents revealed they had moved across the border into their dream new home, which Drew and Jonathan have renovated to their liking.

The house is a Spanish-style bungalow originally built in 1928. However, the brothers have renovated it to give it a modern feel while staying true to the original style.
Rooms featured in the article include a music room and art studio to support the parents’ artistic passions, a front porch perfect for spending hours, a beautiful open living room with a fireplace focal point, and a stylish dining room. and a bar corner, a chic master bedroom and a stunning backyard with a backyard that serves as an oasis for the parents.
