Casting Cleaning Resources, a foundry cleaning service, is expanding its operations in Greenwood County. The company’s $5 million investment will create 42 new jobs while retaining existing jobs, according to a news release.
Founded in Indiana in 1992, CCR provides foundry cleaning services for industrial applications, the release said. Founded in 2019, the company’s Greenwood County operation specializes in cast finishing services and other post-forming services for foundries.
CCR will relocate its Greenwood County operations from Hodges to a separate 56,120 square foot facility at 104 Stoneridge Court in Greenwood, expanding the company’s production capacity.
“Casting Cleaning Resources, Inc. is pleased to announce our expansion in Greenwood, which strengthens our existing partnerships and creates new opportunities for future growth.” , Billy Robinson, Controller of Casting Cleaning Resources, said in a release. “We appreciate the vital support from county and state officials in helping us expand and moving our operations forward.”

Operations are expected to come online in January 2025.

The creation of 42 new jobs will support economic growth in the county. We look forward to seeing CCR grow with our new facility.”
According to the company’s website, Casting Cleaning Resources is a family-owned company that got its start providing chip and grind services to companies like Navistar and Cummins. Expanded to Greenwood in 2019.
